Answers like a real phone call
Signal calls use your phone's own call screen, so answering a business call feels exactly like answering any other, even from the lock screen.

Who can use Signal Phone?
Anyone whose employer uses Signal for their business phones. Accounts are created by your company's administrator, so there's no sign-up in the app. If you don't have a login yet, ask your admin.
Does it cost anything?
The app is free to download. It uses the extension your company already has with Signal, and calls go over Wi-Fi or mobile data.
Will people see my personal cell number?
No. Calls you place from the app go out with your business caller ID, and people who call your office number reach you without ever seeing your cell.
What happens if I dial 911?
Signal Phone hands emergency calls to your phone's built-in dialer over the cellular network, so the dispatcher gets your phone's real location.
I lost my phone. What now?
Tell your Signal administrator. They can sign that phone out of your account from the portal right away, and you can sign in again on your new device.
Is it secure?
Yes. Sign-in and signalling travel over TLS, and call audio is encrypted with SRTP. The app doesn't collect your location, contacts, or analytics.
